The Black Flag soundtrack is such a beautiful blending of epic, cinematic orchestral elements and traditional Irish and pirate-style music. I wanted to strip away some of the more modern elements and create something more old fashioned, but still fun. So I went with bluegrass, something I've been listening to since I was a child. Matheus' fiddle really helped me glue the arrangement together and give it that romping feel that I really wanted.
